Overview

Services Provided: Emergency Shelter Care, Long Term Residential, Drug and Alcohol.

Open Door has been around for over 40 years. Children receive an array of individualized services, including clinical services for children placed in Emergency Shelter Care. Open Door doesn't use any restraints, and staff are trained in trauma-informed care. Thanks to significant grant support, all residential programs are utilizing Trauma-Informed Treatment: A Restorative Approach. Full time staff retention has historically and consistently been between 90-100%, allowing for the establishment of strong, positive relationships between children and adults. Open Door is proud to maintain meaningful contact with many former residents.
